The workshop integrates TA/Gestalt theory and techniques with other personal and community change models. Introductory Workshop Identify personal prejudice and misinformation Identify institutional ISMS & discrimination Understand the personal effects of racism in both whites and people of color; sexism in both men and women, classism in both poor and wealthy, etc. Increase awareness of current issues, problems and methods important to exploring multicultural issues. Explore personal, interpersonal and organizational/systemic problem solving Follow-up Workshop (pre-requisite is a prior 1 or 2-day VISIONS session) Explore and problem-solve specific case situations and challenges in depth Increase understanding of the role of feelings and personality in multicultural issues Change old behaviors and strategies and practice and learn new ones Change unhelpful intra-group & inter-group behaviors Explore theories and applications in depth at the personal, interpersonal and systemic levels Leaders: Angela R.
